Tattoos & Body Piercings

Before reading this article all I knew about body piercing and tattoos is that they are now very popular. What I have learned after reading this is that body piercing is that it can cause severe skin infections, which can cause severe body scarring. I have also learned that facial and tongue piercings tend to heal quicker than other body parts. The reason why is because it have less exposure to light and air which carries a lot of bacteria. You can become infected when getting a tattoo is the needle has been used before, also if the needle is unsterile. Tattoo also tends to react differently to how sensitive, even if the needle is sterile. What I would like to know is if it has any long term affects that happen underneath the skin.

Texting Article

What I know from prior from reading this texting article is that texting can be very distractive. I know that people tend to multitask while text messaging. Text messaging is a very addicting habit, there is nothing wrong with this habit until you do it while driving walking or cooking, because this is when it becomes dangerous. What I've learned from this article is that serious accidents have occured due to texting and doing other physical activities at the same time that require your full attention.

Advice on college success

My personal advice on how to become successful in college is pretty simple. Since you are actually paying for your classes unlike high school it is wise that you reach your classes on time because three lateness counts as on absence and three absences leads to you failing your class, so since attendance plays such a major role its wise your there on time. Another piece of advice is to start your assignments on time, even if you do not finish the assignment the same day you started well at least you started already and gave your self more time to complete that assignment, this piece of advice is very critical due to the fact that professors do not accept late work and procrastination just piles thing on top of one another and then you are left with more work with less time to complete them all. Even if you are to hand in an assignment on time this benefits you by having at least one assignment out of the way an shows your professor that you are a dedicated student and will reflect on your grade. In addition it is also wise to start your reading as early as it is assigned to you. Having a planner is also a wise decision because this can inform you on when things are due and help you with your time management. Lastly, It is important that you study even when you do not expect a test so that you are familiar with the material so that you are more than prepared for the upcoming test.
